How to manage URL redirects in cPanel for VPS (Unskinned)

How to manage URL redirects in cPanel.

This demo assumes you've already logged in to cPanel.

Now let's learn how to add a URL redirect.

1) Scroll down. 

2) Click the redirects icon here.

Choose whether you want this redirect to be temporary or permanent.

3) Type in the URL that you want to redirect.

Now type the destination URL in the box (where you want visitors to be redirected to).

4) Then click the Add button.

That's it! We've just created a URL redirect. Now when someone visits www.abc123.com/contact.html, they'll be automatically redirected to www.demo.com/page2.html.

5) Click the Go Back link.

You can now see the URL redirect we created in the table under "Redirect URL."

You can also remove URL redirects from the same page. Let's remove the redirect we just created.

6) Click the Remove button.

The redirect has just been removed.

This is the end of the tutorial. You can now set up as many URL redirects as you wish, including redirects to other pages within your website, or redirects to pages in other websites
