How to create a POP email account in cPanel.

This demo assumes you've already logged in to cPanel.

Now let's create a new POP email account.

1) Click the Email Accounts icon.

There is already a POP email account listed. It is the main POP account that every hosting account comes with. In this case, abc123c@abc123.com.

But we are not going to use that POP account. We are going to create a new POP account.

2) Enter the new email address for this POP account.

Note: If you have more than one domain in your account (i.e. with domain parking or addon domains) be sure to choose the correct domain for which you want to create your POP email account.

3) Then enter a password for this new account.

4) Re-enter the password.

You can set a quota limit on this email account if you wish.

That's it! A new POP email account has been created.

From here we can check Webmail, change the quota, change the email password, configure a mail client, or delete the email account.

You can enter as many POP email accounts as your hosting plan allows.

This is the end of the tutorial. Don't forget to set up your new POP email account in your favorite email program (i.e. Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, etc.)
