Activating your free secondary Linux Webspace
The following applies to customers with our Business or eCommerce plans that signed up with Windows first. These steps will activate the Linux Apache webspace included free in your plan.
- Login at https://manage.myhosting.com
- Click on the Home tab
- If you have multiple subscriptions select the subscription you wish to work on from the subscription drop down box
- Under Service Information click on Subscription Resources
- Click on Upgrade Resource Limits
- Find Physical hosting (Apache) in the list of available Web Hosting Add-Ons
- Set the new status to On using the drop down box
- Click Next >>
- Click Place Order
That's it! This may take up to half an hour to process. In order to setup your webspace with a domain or subdomain, follow the below instructions.
Setting up a Subdomain on your Linux Webspace
This allows you to create a subdomain for your existing domain and setup hosting for that subdomain.
- Login at https://manage.myhosting.com
- Click on Websites Tab
- Click on Add New Website
- Enter the new Subdomain you wish to create
- Enter the hosting space you want to create the subdomain on
- Enter the Mail hosting space you want to create users on (if needed)

- Login at https://manage.myhosting.com
- Click on the Home tab
- If you have multiple subscriptions select the subscription you wish to work on from the subscription drop down box
- Under Service Information click on Subscription Resources
- Click on Upgrade Resource Limits
- Find Physical hosting (IIS7) in the list of available Web Hosting Add-Ons
- Set the new status to On using the drop down box
- Click Next >>
- Click Place Order
