Transferring your Domain Name
You will just need to contact your current host, or the registrar of your domain and ask them to change the name servers (DNS) of the domain to myhosting.com name servers which are:
First Name Server:
First Server Hostname: ns.myhosting.com
First Server IP Address: 168.144.229.9
Second Name Server
Second Server Hostname: ns1.myhosting.com
Second Server Net Address: 168.144.228.69
Third Name Server
Third Server Hostname: ns2.myhosting.com
Third Server Net Address: 168.144.228.70
You should continue to keep your hosting service at your present site while waiting for the domain to be transferred, as it takes 24-48 hours for a DNS transfer request to be processed. Sometimes it may be necessary to contact your old host and/or registrar by phone to get the transferred completed.
Setting Up Your Account
Just click on Sign Up button to signup for an account. You can then contact the registrar of your domain (if your domain is already registered) and provide them with our name server information:
First Name Server:
First Server Hostname: ns.myhosting.com
First Server IP Address: 168.144.229.9
Second Name Server
Second Server Hostname: ns1.myhosting.com
Second Server Net Address: 168.144.228.69
Third Name Server
Third Server Hostname: ns2.myhosting.com
Third Server Net Address: 168.144.228.70
NOTE: Domain Transfer usually takes 24-48 hours to be updated after you submit the changes to your registrar.
Seamless Transfers
Once payment is received and the account is activated, you will be able to upload your files and create your email accounts using the IP address or Hotlink. Once you have completed the uploading of your site, you can then proceed with getting your domain transferred to our DNS servers.
When you do the domain transfer, email will go to both the new site and the old. When you are no longer receiving email at the old account, you can cancel it.
Transferring Your Domain Name by Yourself
If you are transferring your domain name, you will require the following information:
First Name Server:
First Server Hostname: ns.myhosting.com
First Server IP Address: 168.144.229.9
Second Name Server
Second Server Hostname: ns1.myhosting.com
Second Server Net Address: 168.144.228.69
Third Name Server
Third Server Hostname: ns2.myhosting.com
Third Server Net Address: 168.144.228.70
- Your registrar may require that your DNS be created prior to approval - notify us as soon as you sign up for hosting and we will allocate your IP address and create the DNS entry. You should then request that the NIC registry register and delegate your domain.
- Please notify us of the transfer completion.
Transferring a .UK Domain Name
If you have previously registered your .uk domain name elsewhere, we can still host it for you. If you would like to keep your domain registration with the previous company, all that you need to do is change the name servers on your domain to the following:
First Name Server: ns.myhosting.com
Second Name Server: ns1.myhosting.com
Third Name Server: ns2.myhosting.com
You will need to contact the company whom you purchased the domain with and ask them to submit the changes for you.
If you prefer to transfer the registration to us instead, you will need to contact the company who you registered the domain name with and ask them to change the IPS TAG to the following:

Once they have completed this for you, please contact us at support@myhosting.com. There is an additional manual step which we must complete for you before the domain is fully transferred.
Foreign Domain Name Transfer
To complete the delegation and transfer of a foreign domain to our name servers, notify myhosting.com™ after signing up for hosting to request the DNS entry to be created. Then supply your registrar the following information :

First Server IP Address: 168.144.229.9
Second Name Server
Second Server Hostname: ns1.myhosting.com
Second Server Net Address: 168.144.228.69
