Adding Users to Windows Virtual Server
With your Windows virtual server you can setup additional users that can remote into the server. Please note that only two connections can be running at one time. To create users you would need to follow the instructions listed below.
- Log into your server as the administrator. Press the START button and you'll see "Server Manager" at the top of the list. Right click on the "Server Manager" icon and then choose the "Run as administrator" option.
- A message will pop up to let you know that Windows needs your permission to continue. Just press the CONTINUE button.
- Next, expand "Configuration" and then do the same for "Local Users and Groups". This will reveal a "Users" folder. Right click on that folder and choose the "New User..." option.
- Next enter the user name, full name, description, and password for the new user. By default you will force the user to change his/her password after their first log on. If you do not want to do this you can uncheck the "User must change password at next login" checkbox. Once you're satisfied with the settings press the CREATE button. The user will then be created. If you do not have any more users to setup at this time press the CLOSE button.

- Type "Administrators" into the text box and then press the CHECK NAMES button.
- Once you press the CHECK NAMES button the "Administrator" text that you typed in should change to show "VPSxxxx\Administrators". Press the OK button and the Administrators group will be added to the user.
- You should now see that the user is a member of both the "Users" and "Administrators" groups. Press the OK button to continue.
