Ordering Backup Service for Virtuozzo Virtual Servers
To add a backup service to your Virtuozzo virtual server you would need to follow the steps outlined below.
- Log into your control panel at https://manage.myhosting.com and then click on the Account tab.
- Next click on the Subscriptions link under the Subscription section.
- Click on the ID link for the server you want to setup backups for.
- Then click on the "Resources" tab.
- Here you will see that there are several scheduled backup plans. The dates for the backup plans indicate that they are for Saturday or Sunday but that can be edited to any day of the week. The scheduled backups are available at four times during the day six hours apart. The timing for these can't be switched so you would want to pick the plan with the time thats best for you. There are also manual backup options and this will allow you to go into your control panel and run a backup right away whenever you need to. If you want to have the system routinely do the backups you'd need a scheduled plan and not the manual one.
Once your backup plan is enabled you would then have a new option under your subscription for managing your backups. To manage the backups log into the control panel and select a subscription that has backups enabled. You would then click on the VPS Management link and this would then display for you the link for managing your backups.
