How to use Web Disk in cPanel for VPS (Unskinnned)

How to use Web Disk in cPanel.

This demo assumes you've already logged in to cPanel.

Now let's learn how to use Web Disk.

1) Scroll down. 

2) Click the Web Disk icon.

Web Disk allows you to easily drag and drop files from your computer to your hosting account, just as if it were part of your home computer.

You can also navigate through the files in your hosting account, just as you do the files on your local computer.

3) Enter the username you want to use in the Login box.

4) Enter a password.

5) Re-enter the password.

6) Then click Create.

We've successfully set up a new Web Disk account.

7) Click the Go Back link.

The new Web Disk account is listed under Web Disk Account Management.

8) Now click Access Web Disk.

Choose the operating system you'll use to view Web Disk. In this case, we'll choose Windows XP.

9) Click the link "Click here and save to your desktop" to save a Web Disk Shortcut to your desktop.

Now let's drag the edge of this window to the left to reveal our desktop.

There it is! Our new Web Disk shortcut saved to our desktop.

To launch Web Disk, you would simply double click the icon on the desktop.
