[OnCloud] Creating FTP Users

Linux Shared Hosting

  1. Log into your myhosting.com onCloud Control Panel with your username and password.
  2. If you have more than one subscription under your account, select the one you wish work with from the list.
  3. Click on the Websites or Website Hosting tab and select your domain name.
  4. Select FTP Access.

  5. Select the Users tab within the FTP Access window, and click on Add New User.

  6. Enter the log in name, password, and confirm the password once finished. Below that, there will be an area to specify which folders you'd like the user to have access to.

Windows Shared Hosting

There is only one FTP user for an IIS web space. These instructions will allow you to set the password for the FTP account.

  1. Log into your myhosting.com onCloud Control Panel with your username and password.
  2. If you have more than one subscription under your account, select the one you wish work with from the list.
  3. Click on the Websites or Website Hosting tab
  4. Click on Web Hosting Settings.
  5. Here click Edit to change the FTP password.
  6. Once done click Submit.
