Windows Mail / Outlook Express 6
- From the Tools menu select Accounts...
- Click on the Add... button. Select E-mail Account/Mail and click Next.
- Enter your name and click Next.
- Enter your email address and click Next.
- Select POP3 as the Incoming email server type, and enter ex.myhosting.com as the Incoming mail and auth.myhosting.com as the Outgoing mail server names. For Windows Mail users, Check mark the Outgoing server requires authentication check box. Click Next.
- Enter your full email address as your email username, and your corresponding password. Click Next.
- For Outlook Express users, select the account you just created, click Properties, and select the Servers tab. Select the My server requires authentication check box, then click OK.
- Click Finish/Close.
Thunderbird 2
- From the Tools menu select Account Settings...
- Click Add Account...
- Select Email account and click Next.
- Enter your name and your full email address, then click Next.
- Select POP and then enter ex.myhosting.com as your Incoming Server and auth.myhosting.com as Outgoing Server. Click Next.
- Enter your full email address as your Incoming User Name, and then click Next.
- Enter anything you like as your Account Name and click Next.
- Review the settings and then click Finish.
Eudora 7
- From the Tools menu select Personalities. Right-click in the Persona list that opens on the left, and select New...
- Choose Create brand new email account and click Next.
- Enter a name for your new Personality and click Next.
- Enter your name and click Next.
- Enter your full email address and click Next.
- Enter your full email address as your User Name and then click Next.
- Enter ex.myhosting.com as the Incoming Server and select the POP option, then click Next.
- Enter auth.myhosting.com as the Outoing Server and select the Allow authentication option, then click Next.
- Click Finish.
- From the Tools menu select Options...
- In the Sending Mail section locate the SMTP Relay Personality drop-down menu, and select the name of the Peronsa you created in step 3. Then click OK.
Opera 9
- From the Tools menu select Mail and chat accounts... and then click Add...
- Select Regular e-mail (POP) and click Next.
- Enter your Real name, full E-mail address and (optionally) your Organization and then click Next.
- Enter your full email address as your Login name and your Password, then click Next.
- Enter ex.myhosting.com as the Incoming server and auth.myhosting.com as the Outgoing server and then click Finish.
- From the Tools menu select Mail and chat accounts... Locate the account you just added, select it and click Edit...
- Select the Servers tab. Under Outgoing SMTP server select the Authentication drop-down menu and choose Auto (AUTH LOGIN). Then enter your full email address as the Username and your account password. Click OK and then Close.
Outlook 2007
- From the Tools menu select Account Settings...
- Select the E-mail tab and click New...
- Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP and click Next.
- Select the Manually configure server settings or additional server types check box, then click Next.
- Select Internet E-mail and then click Next.
- Enter your name and full email address in the fields provided. In the Account Type field select POP3. In the Incoming mail server enter ex.myhosting.com and in the Outgoing mail server field enter auth.myhosting.com. Enter your full email address in the User Name field, and finally enter your Password.
- Click on the More Settings... button and then select the Outgoing Server tab. Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and Use the same settings as my incoming server.
- Click OK and then click Next. Click Finish and then Close.
Outlook 2010
- From the File tab click on the + Add Account button.
- Select the Manually configure server settings or additional server types option and click Next
- Select Internet E-mail and then click Next.
- Enter your name and full email address in the fields provided. In the Account Type field select POP3. In the Incoming mail server and Outgoing mail server fields enter ex.myhosting.com for both. Enter your full email address in the User Name field, and finally enter your Password.
- Click on the More Settings... button and then select the Outgoing Server tab. Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and Use the same settings as my incoming server.
- Click OK and then click Next. Then click Finish.
