Configure Snow Leopard - Mac Mail with Exchange

Using AutoDiscover to automatically configure Mac Mail with Exchange

Snow Leopard and OSX have incorporated MS AutoDiscover tools which make setting up Mac Mail on Snow Leopard and OSX about as easy as it gets.

  1. Using AutoDiscover, you just need enter your mail2web Mobile Email Pro or myhosting.com Hosted Exchange email address and password.
  2. AutoDiscover does the rest! You can even set up Address Book and iCal at the same time.
  3. Since it uses EWS, you may need to edit your account preferences to set your Address Book or iCal to refresh “Automatically” or at some other interval.

Microsoft Exchange account setup has never been easier.

After setting up your account you can access your email, notes and tasks from Mail, you can view your Contacts Lists and even search the Global Address list (hosted exchange only), and access your Calendar items, appointments and events from iCal.
