Accessing the email quarantine (Spam Expert)

Note * Users with the following tab under their email subscription are using SpamExpert as their fail filtering system

There are a number of different ways that you can access the email messages that have been quarantined for your subscription.

From Your Control Panel

1. Login at https://manage.myhosting.com and choose the Subscription you want to manage from the drop-down list in the top right corner. If you only have one subscription, it will be selected automatically.

2. In the tabs along the top of the page, click on Anti-Spam

3. The SpamExperts spam panel will load and you will be automatically logged in. You can click on the "Spam Quarantine" icon to view all the email quarantined for all users under your subscriptions.

Periodic Quarantine Summary Email

If you want to set up a daily or weekly spam quarantine summary, it can also be configured for the whole domain, or for each individual user.

Domain Level Quarantine Summary

1. Click on "Periodic Domain Report"

2. Select the "Report Enabled" check box, and set the email address you want it sent to in the "Recipient Address" field.

3. You can define in the "Report Frequency" whether it is sent Daily or Weekly (on Sunday), as well as your language, format and other options.

4. Click "Update" to save your settings.

End User Level Quarantine Summary

If you want your end users to receive their own quarantine summary email...

1. Click on "Periodic User Report"

2. You will see a statement which says "Automatically activate for all recipients is disabled". To enable it, click on the "Enable" button. When it is completed you will see a confirmation message: "Automatically activate for all recipients has been enabled."

Please note, you do not need to add recipients manually or upload a CSV file of recipients. When a new spam is received for any email address under your account, the quarantine will be created for that email address and the periodic user report email will be sent automatically.

End User Quarantine

If your end user's prefer not to receive a summary email, they can instead access their Spam Quarantine via their MyCP.

1. Login at https://manage.myhosting.com and choose the Subscription you want to manage from the drop-down list in the top right corner. If you only have one subscription, it will be selected automatically.

2. Click on the "Anti-Spam" tab, then click on the "End Users" sub-tab.

3. Click on the "+ Add New" button, then choose the End User(s) you want to grant access for, and click "Next »".

4. Confirm the details and then click "Finish".

5. You'll then see that the End User access is being created. When the Status changes to "Ready", then everything is completed.

Now you can Instruct your end user(s) to login at https://manage.myhosting.com with their Email Address and password, and then click on the "Anti-Spam" tab, and then click on the "Open" link.
